- 8 oz bowtie pasta farfalle
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or a mix of cheddar and mozzarella
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup marinara sauce optional, for added flavor
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Prepare the Pasta : Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Beef : In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
Make Garlic Butter Sauce : Reduce heat to medium, add the butter to the skillet, and let it melt. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Create the Cheesy Sauce : Pour in the heavy cream and stir continuously. Once the mixture begins to simmer, reduce the heat to low and gradually add the shredded cheese, stirring until smooth. If using marinara sauce, mix it in at this stage for extra depth of flavor.
Combine Ingredients : Add the cooked pasta and beef to the cheesy garlic butter sauce. Toss everything together until well coated.
Season and Serve : Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy hot!
