Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp milk or water
  • ½ cup hot honey store-bought or homemade
  • Oil for baking/frying as needed

Instructions
 

  • Prep Coating Station : In three separate bowls, prepare the dry mix (flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, pepper), the egg wash (beaten egg + milk/water), and the panko breadcrumbs.
  • Coat Chicken Tenders : Dip each tender into the flour mixture, then the egg wash, and finally the breadcrumbs. Place coated tenders on a plate.
  • Cook the Tenders :
  • For baking: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, spray lightly with oil, and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • For frying: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry tenders in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden. Drain on paper towels.
  • For air frying: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Cook tenders in batches for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway.
  • Toss in Hot Honey : While hot, toss the cooked tenders in hot honey sauce using tongs until evenly coated. Serve immediately.
